Runways

Kalgoorlie Airport is currently operating with two runways—11/29 and 18/36. Both have asphalt surface, and measure 2,000m and 1,200m in length, respectively.

Flights and Destinations

Previously, there are three airlines that operate from Kalgoorlie Airport, with the Ansett Airlines being the third one. Unfortunately, Ansett Airlines went bankrupt, so the airport was left with only two airlines. Between the two, Qantas has a greater presence, since SkyWest only uses the airport as stop over for its flights going to Melbourne. Other destinations include Perth, Geraldton, and Adelaide.

Transport To and From the Airport

Kalgoorlie Airport has car rental service desks located within the airport. Taxis are also available outside the terminal. Through private vehicles, the airport is just a 5-minute drive from the town's center.
