Regional Express Airlines (REX), Australia’s largest regional airline outside of Qantas Airways, is a Wagga Wagga, New South Wales-based carrier that flies to 36 destinations on a fleet of 48 turboprop aircraft. The same booking facility also offers passengers the option to reserve discounted hotel accommodations, car rentals, and insurance for their trip.
Passengers may also opt to their book ticket at REX’s Customer Contact Center by calling 13 17 13, or make their ticket purchase through any local travel agent. REX Airlines only issues electronic tickets via their online booking facility, and passengers have the option to pay via credit card for online bookings subject to card surcharges on the total booking price (3.9% for American Express, 2.9% for Diner’s Club, and 1.9% for Visa and Master card).
Passengers can change their booking details by accessing the website’s Amend Bookings feature to enjoy up to 66% discount on administrative fees usually charged when changing reservation information (flight date and time, ticket cancelations for future use and refunds, rebooking, change of name) via REX’s Customer Contact Center.
REX Airlines advices guests to check in at least 60 minutes before their flight departure, and to bring with them valid photo identification to verify their tickets. Each adult passenger is allowed up to 15kg of check in luggage (10kg for children and infants), and passengers without check-in baggage may use the airline’s web check-in facility 48 hours before their flight departure for added check-in convenience.
