Airlines Of Tasmania - Booking Information

A small regional airline serving the air commuting needs of the Australian island of Tasmania, Airlines of Tasmania flies out of its base at the Cambridge Aerodrome in Hobart where it ferries passengers to Launceston, King Island, and Wynyard.

Operating a fleet of lightweight planes, the carrier began its existence as an airport operator, and segued its services to flying passengers on scheduled flights and charter services after it acquired sight-seeing tours operator and flight school, Par-Avion.

Passengers wishing to fly across the airline’s Tasmania destinations can log on to the Airlines of Tasmania website at www.airtasmania.com.au to book their tickets online. They may also purchase air tickets with any of Airlines of Tasmania’s authorized agents who will present each guest with a written confirmation of their booking upon payment.

While booking reserves a flight with the airline, passengers are urged to get a reconfirmation of their ticket to prevent a cancellation of their reservation. With some fare types, Airlines of Tasmania does not allow changing or cancellation of bookings.

Passengers traveling on board Airlines of Tasmania aircraft are entitled to 15kg of check-in luggage, and one piece of carry-on luggage not exceeding 7kg. All domestic flights require guests to check-in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled time of departure.
